Karen Elson is one of my favourite artists. Her debut album, which came out TIME ago, is still one of the best. Spooky but sweet. It's an interesting sound. The lyrics are worth paying attention too as well. If you haven't heard of this gem I would really recommend youtubing her. :-)

My dress was all hand beaded. The wedding was at the Granit club...  perfect occasion to dress up! Now I wish I had more opportunities to wear this thing..

And also BUY dresses like this. I may be kind of obsessed. 💸😔

Trust

Trusting people can be very hard. Sometimes it can be rewarding and sometimes it can be devastating. Choose who you trust wisely. Just because you want to trust someone, doesn't necessarily mean that you should. 

I've been doing this opposite action thing so I can get a hang on my anxiety and hopefully take my control back. But something I learned recently is that sometimes our anxiety is there to warn us. That were not ready. Or that there's something wrong with the situation. That Something isn't right. Being able to differentiate between the two is key. And hopefully I'll be able to figure that shit out soon ,for real. 

Trusting people is important. And I want to trust more. But maybe you need to see that someone is trust worthy before hoping, and deciding that they are. It's not always for you to decide. It's for others to show. 

(But hey, you can always trust your cat!!!)

2012

Today I was looking through my icloud and I found some pictures from 2012 when I went to Burning Man. The feeling of biking out onto the playa and seeing the larger than life art pieces was so surreal. You really felt like you were a part of something and that you were free. No one judges you there and everyone is kind and giving. Going is life changing and I think it would be good for everyone to experience that kind of freedom and community at least once in their life.
